NORFOLK RESIDENTS AFFECTED BY HURRICANE MATTHEW - WHERE TO REPORT DAMAGES
Attention all Norfolk Residents affected by Hurricane Matthew: While the storm cleanup is ongoing, many residents’ homes and belongings have been badly damaged, while some have experienced complete loss of home and property and have been dealing with insurance companies.

I have been in contact with our city officials and we will be providing a coordinated cleanup effort, as Norfolk and Virginia Beach have declared states of emergency as residents deal with flooding from Hurricane Matthew.

In order for FEMA officials to make an assessment, all residents are encouraged to visit the Norfolk Cares website at https://www.norfolk.gov/askaquestion. This will help the city provide data to the FEMA assessor as part of the process to receive federal financial assistance.

Please share with your friends and neighbor ASAP.
